Service Starts in the Soil

The First Harvest Belongs to Those Who First Served.

McMillian Farms is calling on people, organizations, businesses, churches, schools, and community leaders who believe that service should produce something real.

We are building an agricultural education farm rooted in service, health, and legacy. Our work connects youth with hands-on farming, teaches practical life skills, and helps provide fresh fruits and vegetables to local veterans.

"The First Harvest Belongs to Those Who First Served."

That belief guides everything we are building.

Volunteer With Us

Volunteers Are the Heartbeat of McMillian Farms

Every planted tree, cleaned garden bed, packed produce box, restored trail, and prepared harvest helps move the mission forward.

You do not need to be a farmer to serve here. You need commitment, respect, consistency, and a willingness to work.

Volunteer Areas

Volunteers may help with:

Planting fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers

Weeding, mulching, and garden cleanup

Orchard care and fruit tree support

Greenhouse preparation

Harvesting and packing produce

Farm beautification projects

Youth agriculture activities

Event setup and breakdown

Trail and outdoor learning space maintenance

Fundraising and community outreach

Photography, video, and social media support

Administrative and grant support

Every task matters. Some work feeds veterans. Some work teaches children. Some work prepares the farm for the next season. All of it has purpose.
